Why did you start teaching?

For me, teaching was the best way for me to help others. Teaching enables me to work with the hearts and minds of others, and to guide them to be lifelong learners.

What's the best advice that you ever received?

Don't present problems without solutions.

What's the best advice that you could give your students?

There are no stupid questions. Ask questions early and often.

What is the one book you think everyone should read?

"Cutting for Stone" by Abraham Verghese.
