I decided to teach to make a difference in the lives of children by improving teaching and learning in classrooms. After several years of teaching in P-12 schools, I felt the best way to accomplish this goal was to pursue my doctorate and move into higher education. I still work daily to improve teaching and learning at both the university and P-12 levels.What's the best advice that you ever received?
The Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated.

Never forget the reason for your work...the children.
